BUMBLEance and Peninsula HR and Health & Safety, Ireland, Partnership Raises €300,000 to Support Children’s Healthcare Journeys

7 APRIL 2026 - Since May 2024, Peninsula HR and Health & Safety consultancy based in Dublin and Cork, have partnered with BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service to support its mission of providing free, child-centred transport for Ireland’s youngest patients.

BUMBLEance’s vision is a world where no child is unable to access their healthcare due to something as simple as transport. BUMBLEance is Ireland’s only dedicated Children’s Ambulance Service. The charity makes a difference by empowering the thousands of families unable to access their child’s healthcare by providing journeys in a safe, caring, and fun environment, completely free of charge.

Over the past two years, Peninsula colleagues and corporate match giving donated €12,500 per month. In total, this partnership has generated €300,000 - funding approximately 600 nationwide BUMBLEance journeys for Ireland’s youngest patients.

The partnership has also driven strong employee engagement across Peninsula, with staff participating in a wide range of fundraising initiatives, including 24-hour row-a-thons, bake sales, table quizzes, raffles, and charity auctions!
